Brisbane paper craft show

Went up to brissy on saturday, with a few of my stamping friends.. we had a wonderful day ..
I also met up with sherri another Stampin Up® demo ... and she was just lovely, I was very pleased to meet her .. the Stampin Up ® stand looked just fabulous lots of lovely cards and 3D and scrapbooking well done girls .....

Love doing punch art ..... and have been asked to do a couple of cards for little people ...... there are many versions of these characters on line .... and many have done them so I really cant pin point the original artist ... but I do thank you for the idea ...LESLEY XXX

Hostess Set

Decided to put ink to this little set a level 1 hostess set ... obtained free by holding a workshop and $300 sales .... so cute and easy cards to make just used marker pens to colour them and stamp on whisper white card stock with a simple sentiment added and used oval punch ..... effect is super and so easy to make

I wanted this stamp set for a long time and it was in the catty long before I joined Stampin Up ®, Very Punny, well a very dear friend gave it to me and I have finally made a card with it .............. A 4x4 card using choc chip, baja breeze, crumb cake and very punny and curvy verses and punches and certainly celery ribbon cute!! LESLEY XXX

Well another christmas come and gone all the hype and poof its gone in a flash ... hard to believe

Been messing in my room was supposed to be cleaning it ... but made a 4x4 card in Daffodil delight and pretty in pink and tempting turquoise and punches to make a flower and used itty bitty bits

A christmas light ... little battery operated tea lights are just great for these Luminaires and they even flicker like a candle a freind kindly helped me out with the punch and the stamp .........LESLEY XXX

Natural beauty

Just playing around with the scallop trim corner and edge punch .. I have had so much trouble getting it to work out well with a 3 13/16 inch square of cardstock

I finally did it .. woohoo... so I made a card using an older set Natural beauty and did some water colouring that I haven't done in a while ... and here are the results LESLEY XXX

I mixed perfect plum with more mustard and also used water colour paper and used Natural Beauty stamp set .

Those that have known me a long time know that Im really not a flowery type person but this set has changed all that. I love it an it goes so well with the kraft and soft pinks and soft suede.

For this card I have used vintage vogue stamp set...and very vintage wheel, soft suede ink and kraft, very vanilla and pink pirouette card stock also added a few half pearls.

My friend and fellow demo here on the beautiful Gold Coast has past this on to me
dont think I have a beautiful blog as I dont get on here enough
when its passed on ... I'm asked to share 10 things about me ........ so here goes...
1. love where I live .. used to live in a small town and it was soooooo cold... now anything under 20deg cel. and I freeze my butt off
2. I have 4 great boys and 6 and bit grand children ..
3. I love my craft and my work interupts it a lot but need it to supply the craft habit
4. I'm a nurse and I work in aged care ...love our senoir citizens
5. Not a real good cook ... but my hubby and boys have survived
6. Im hooked on a soapy "coronation street" only time I watch tv
7. I LOVE chocolate and it shows ........lol
8. Im an earth elements girl....(proberly picked that with most of my cards)
9. Im always up gone midnight usually in my craft room on on the computor

and finally...............
10. love to sit by the pool with a cappacino and hubby and the dog... lesley xxx

Isn't it wonderful... I just love Stampin Up!® always got great products and great prices ... and all the products co-ordinate ... such a pleasure to craft with all their products and to watch people faces as they browse through the catalogue... sharing good times and ideas with each other ... another great morning making cards at my house.. I did so enjoy it...which is what reminded me of how much I do love it...

I really love this little set ... Made a 4 x4 card using choc chip, old olive card stock and kiwi kiss and red riding hood inks and more mustard marker plus some choc chip cross grain ribbon. Two tone tree is done using the "rock'n'roll" technique.

New 2009 in-colors are just gorgeous, I made this card using pacific point, baja blue and tangerine tango , cardstock and inks. and Good friend stamp set....
